I have come to decide that blogging is exhausting. This will be short and sweet. This is the palace or government buildings.
This is what it looks like when you go inside. We saw some amazing murals by Diego Rivera. They retell the history of Mexico.
This cathedral is next to the palace.
Andrea was being interviewed. It was part of a school project (theirs not ours).
As we were leaving a protest was beginning. This truck showed an anti-party ad. It was quite jazzy.
Here are some protesters coming
They came in droves.
Some protesters wore masks. See below. We were only there for the beginning of the protest. We later saw pics on-line right where we were. Over a million student protesters showed up in front of the palace. Crazy!
This is an area we drove through that you would not walk through. Street vendors were everywhere. They say it is not safe.
We thought this was a fun was to advertise jeans.
Not the classiest area. Notice the name brand.
We went to the museum/former house of Diego and Frida (artists). I need to watch the movie Frida now! No pics were allowed inside. This pic was taken just outside the entrance.
We went to ride barges. There were nurseries along the drive. This has to be Vanessa heaven.
This was happening where we parked.
This was fun!
Our barge
People in Mexico will sell you anything anywhere. There were even vendors on the water.
We've been in that church...amazing, isn't it? And, the boats...such fun!
